Congratulations!! And what a choice...excellent..

I feel the first Patek will always be a well thought one. Much research before the jump. I had a close encounter with a 5134g, but just wasn't ready to buy for some reason. I think its practical. Kinda sporty and dressy...and still sexy from the crown gua

And the champion of 5098 speaks....

Haha..my dear Emmanuel, Nothing else triggers an immediate response from me apart from a reminder of this art piece. Anyway, a simple wipe with a microfiber cloth removed the oxidation layer from mine. Its all settled. Lesson learnt about using it more, a

The Golden Ellipse dilemma (incl. new olive green models)

Last December , I had the opportunity to try on several Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse models , references 3738 & 5738 . I started with the white gold model with a grey dial , ref. 3738/100G-012 . Gorgeous and very elegant on my smaller 16 cm wrist , b

I’ve tried on the 1593 in Brussels,

when buying the 5098P, but I wasn’t convinced by the fit and look on my wrist: www.watchprosite.com Cheers, Emmanuel

I enjoyed your in-depth review very much.

Like you, I find the 5235 appealing (and I share your love of the 5098), but I've only been able to see the R version in person so far. Your review makes me want to see the G someday even more than before. Best, Emmanuel

Annual Calendar Reguator 5235G: an undervalued gem?

Let me be frank: I’m not a huge fan of Patek Philippe in general. (Ducks a barrage of rotten fruit.) Before you start flaming, let me tell you that I enjoy the level of finishing Patek applies to its higher end products and appreciate the quality of the b

Oxidation related?

My dear friends, I was looking ever so lovingly at my 5098r , and noticed some discolouration or colour differentiation at the margins close to the crystal. The watch was given a light polish when I bought it almost 9 months ago. And, the room where I kee

PS: The engraved case is absolutely fascinating and I enjoyed contemplating it during each of my visits to the Patek Philippe museum.

If I could afford it, I wouldn't hesitate. But what I appreciate most is wearing my watches as often as possible, every day. And the prototype almost feels like it could be worn every day (even though I know that's just a dream). My Chronometro Gondolo 50
